Interview w/ LWF's MaD MaRk OsLeBeR.... I want to apoligize to Mad Mark because I couldn' find a good pic of you ont eh LWf site so I put up Apryl so the guys can read an dimagine about STICKING IT IN!(pic. courtesy of www.lwfwrestling.com )

Hey everyone, Just so you know this interview is like a month old. This dude was supposed to be making us a real site but obvioulsy he's not and I'm pretty pissed off but I'll update this site the best I can.

Mike:How did you get started in wrestling?

Mad Mard: I went to a wwf house show (I would later find out it was the same day Ryan
Boz was aquitted of murder) and several lwf people were sitting above me
being really loud. I particularly remember Punk singing the honky tonk man
song. After the show, I bumped into them in the bar, bummed a cigerette off
Venom, and wound up exchanging #'s. I started to pal around with some of the
guys. I still lived in Chicago at the time so it was quite a distance, but
some of the guys would ocasionally come over for ppvs and vice versa. We
actually met Buster C King at my house, we called him up, he thought we were
gonna beat him up, he came over anyway and it all just came together. A
little while later, Venom and Punk came over and we went out to lunch (Punk
had shish Kabab, Venom and I had burgers). They asked if I wanted in and I
said sure, all the while havinmg no idea what I was getting myself into.

Mike:What do you think of backyard wrestling?

Mad Mark:I think it probably is not a healthy way to have fun. I would recommend
playing guitar, listening to music, or reading for those who are looking for
ways to kill time.

Mike: If you colud bring back one person from the past LWF who would it be?and why?

Mad Mark: Jimmy Strons. I'm sorry I did not hang out w/ Jimmy as much while he was
around, and being that he lives with me now, I probably could take turns with
him driving to shows. Aside from the convienince tho, Jimmy was a lot of fun
to work with and he helped me out a lot, taught me some stuff.

Mike: What other indy feds would you like to work for and why?

Mad Mark: I would work anywhere if time permited. I have had to turn some stuff down
because I am so busy in other avenues of my life, and going to tree-hugging
hippy love fests takes a backseat only to the lwf, so that eliminates many
summer weekends.

Mike:Who is your favorite indy wrestler out of LWF?

Mad Mark: Anybody that works stiff, really stiff, against Brad Bradley

Mike: Do you see your self leading a person to world championship gold in LWF?

Mad Mark: But of course. I was manager of the year this year, unanimously chosen by
the experts at chicagowrestling.com I'm fixin' to be a back to back winner
and to do so I'm gonna need the gold.

Mike:What do you think is in the future of LWF?

Mad Mark: A lot of surprises and a lot of success. Hopefully we will finally get that
damn tv thing.

Mike: What do you think of Brain Zenner using LWF talent?

Mad Mark:Its a touchy subject. If you are Double M, how could you turn down an
opportunity to work with Chetti, Capri, and Daniels. You can't. On the other
hand, mcw is basically built around lwf guys. They go from BoBo Brazil Jr.
and Ronnie Vegas to Acid, Jensen, Punk etc. Its irratating to see this guy
wait around to see what is hot in the lwf, then book it. There were times
when the lwf was bashed, but look where all the talent comes from. Look where
everyone wants to work. The lwf provides guys an opportunity to make
themselves into stars. tell me Airborne is not much more interesting in the
lwf then he was in mcw. Same goes for all those guys. i seemed to get off the
point there, but what I mean is that at once I could see it being cool to
work mcw because of the talent they were bringing in, but the lwf has a lot
in store for 2002 and I no longer see any prestige in working for Zenner.
That is my opinion.

M: What is your opinion on CM PUNK returning?

MM: I was very much for it. I could not imagine anyone being against it. For the
record, I was also very much for Waz returning.

M: LWF is becoming like it used to in the OLD SCHOOL days every show, what's
your opinion on this?

MM: Well I do not see it like that. Some old faces have come back, but for the
most part, its a different audience and a different attitude (thats for damn
sure) If it were to return to the old days, I do not think I could handle it,
nobody could, But that is speaking from a behind the scenes take on it.
Our crowd used to be scarier. There are a lot of girls there now, which is
good of course, But we used to draw a freakier element. I had a guy ask me to
make out with his girlfriend once, she had a hairlip and a hang tooth. Why
don't I see chicks like that in our crowd now?
Personally, If i were not part of the lwf, I would go to the shows not only
for the action, but to try to get laid as well. Man, I wish I was 17.

M: Now that were talking OLD SCHOOL what are you feelings on THE FAMILY?

MM: I have lots. First off, we were perfect in timing. The crowd dug it, we were
just a perfect fit for the times. We all had such great chemistry together.
In retrospect, that storyline never really ended. Towards the end of our
stint in the lwf, we kind of rushed things, and you never really did have
that heel stable "in control". Everything was so screwed up by the time
Charcoal won the title, It was just a mess to book and everyone is
fighting....I guess my point is we had a good run, but we never had a chance
to reach our potential. Maybe we were so good because at the time the 2 sides
actually were fueding behind the scenes so it looked good on shows. Watch
some old tapes of Charcoal brutalizing people, its sick! Mike Broox took some
sick ass bumps! We also happened to have the best ring entrance of all time
with the best theme music.

M: Would you ever consider bringing THE FAMILY back?

MM: How do I answer this? maybe it would be best to leave it as it was...a true
enigma, over, loved and hated, definitly feared. I did some really stupid
things back then, shit that should have gotten me fired or sued, thank god
there was no RESPECTABLE WEB SITE SUCH AS CHICAGOWRESTLING.COM to report the
story or have it in the open for discussion. I would get crucified. Then
again, killing a man in self defense has seemed to help Ryan Boz's career.
Maybe I would it again, if I felt right about the diretion of it.

M: How does THE FAMILY compare to the S-I-I-X?

MM: Let me first say that I love Stryc 9. He was so hard to work with in the
beginning, but now I absolutly love working with him. He has a great mind, he
is truly gonna be something special outta Chicago.
I never participated in the creative process of the Family. I actually
did nothing but play the role. With S I I X, its like my baby. The guys are
willing to try just about anything and it really has been a great oppotunity
for me to use my creativity.
The family was serious, stick it in is a " good time gimmick ".

M: I understand when you first started the LWF you were an interviewer, now
your practically one of the biggest managers in LWF, do you enjoy playing a
big part for the LWF?

MM: Yes. I also think I have yet to make an impact. I'm just a manager, I realize
that i am not there to try to get myself over, But I have always felt that
creativity was my strongest quality. I feel that I am a natural performer,
maybe wrestling is not the right avenue for me, maybe something else is, but
it definitly has helped. 98% of the time I love being out there ringside,
just trying to make some "fill" for the match in progress and the story being
told.

M: You've managered 3 tag teams that I can think of off the top of my head, the
family, the jones', and the S-I-I-X, which did you like the best?

MM: Correction, I have been with Osleber's army, The Family, The Jones', Team
Fire pro, and S I I X. I learned a lot working with the Jones'. I owe Mini a
lot, I hope he realizes how thankful I am. Bobby Rage was the first person to
not only give me a chance but to beleive in me as well. He once called me an
untapped comodity. I will never forget that...or him, the silly bastard. (He
would be the second guy I would like to see come back). Fire Pro was cool, I
got to be with my friends! People always ask why I did not return with them,
the truth is I was the first person to discuss a return with Venom and Whack,
then I fell off the face of the planet and spent all my time trying to stay
alive as oppsed to trying to return to the lwf. All stables had their
qualities, it would be unfair for me to come out with a favorite. Its like
chooseing a favorite beer.

M: Who is your favorite wreslter as of this moment?

MM: Mimic, but he is a close friend, a personal hero and such. I really enjoy
watching Airborne, Punk, Capri, Cobanna.

M: Who is your favorite manager as of this moment?

MM: Prazak

M: If you could go back and change anything (if you wanted to) in your LWF
experience, what would it be?

MM: I could say that I would have made different choices during the split....but
then I probably would not be where I am today.
But I must say I would never have introduced a couple ungrateful bastards
into this biz and particularly the lwf.

M: What is your opinion on this site?

MM: I digz it!

M: Is it a good idea, a crappy one, or what?

MM: I think fan sights are great and I feel flattered that I am involved in a
company that you have chosen to direct some interest in.

M:Heres a question everyones wondering, where exaclty did you come up with the
saying, STICK IT IN?

MM: Its about 10 years old and it was created At Baker's Square On Harlem and
Foster where I worked During my first stint in college in between Grateful
Dead tours.
There was a middle-Eastern waiter, good looking guy, he was a model and his
name was Safari Riaz (Saf). He would actually go by the name of Claudio, his
modeling handle. Anyway, there was an older woman named Maureen who would
come in for coffe....DECAF ONLY because she was a little "sick in the head".
On this one particular night, I had decided to not only give her regular
coffe, but to give it an "extra kick". To make a long story short, Maureen
was kicked out for being hyper and "acting out".
The final straw was, under my instructions, Maureen stood on her booth table
in the crowded resturant, bent over, pointed to her ass, and yelled "hey Saf,
stick it in". Just for the record, Maureen continued to come and we continued
to give her "special coffee" until one day she shit on the wall in the
bathroom and was forever banished.

M: What is you feelings on Whacks new character?

MM: I love it. Its so hard to hate Whack tho, he has more charisma then anyone I
ever met. But the funny thing is that through frustrations and anger, he
preatty much means/feels everything he says.

M: Who would you say is your main enemy/rival?

MM: I sometimes think that God hates me, I never seem to get a break. I would
have to say though, my biggest enemy is jennifer Firak. I hope she is sitting
around as I type this, enjoying all my money and posessions.

M: Do you see better things coming in the New Year for LWF?

MM: yes...better and bigger. We are not just about entertainment like some other
companies, we are all astute followers of pop-culture. We want to change the
fucking world.

M: If so do you think a TV deal might be in view?

MM: If we do not get tv soon, I am going to kill myself (if I do not die this
sunday) You have to understand, I do not want to get a "real job" and I will
do anything to avoid it.

M: For a a small while the crowds were down a little bit in LWF, at any point
were you or any of the guys scared?

MM: I would not say scared. I have a strong faith in the lwf. I do remember
always being really interested in the draw and doing whatever I could to make
a good show. During the attendence drop, I stopped asking about the draw and
really just concentrated on having fun. This is when the concept for " S I I
X" was born.

M: And if you could say anything to everyone that reads this interview what
would it be?

MM: Come check us out....We have a complete entertainment package with something
to offer for everyone and lots of hot chicks in the crowd. Who could ask for
more out of a saturday night? Also, I am driving home from Southern florida
on sunday. Wendy has said that she feels I will die during this trip. If I do
I would just like to say goodbye. Support my girlfriend, Natalie Imbruglia,
buy her new cd.
